We walk the dog and clean the yard on the same visit. Walk first unless the ticket says yard first. You get one thread with the walk proof and the yard proof in it, and a single invoice instead of two vendors and two access notes.

Two combo stops a week.

Two combo stops suit multi dog yards that also need midweek exercise. Waste never builds up and the dog gets out twice, on the same access notes.

Longer than a scoop, and it should be.

A combo stop is the booked walk length plus the yard time, and the yard time on a combo is not shorter than it would be on a scoop only visit. That matters because the most common complaint about combo services elsewhere is a yard that got half done because the walk overran. Our walk clock runs from a start photo to an end photo, so the walk cannot quietly borrow time from the yard, and the yard cannot quietly borrow time from the walk.

The two jobs do not fail the same way.

Weather splits a combo, which is worth understanding before it happens. Heat shortens or cancels a walk long before it affects the yard, because pavement temperature is a dog safety question and a wet lawn is only an inconvenience. Rain is the reverse: the walk is usually fine and the yard becomes genuinely harder to clean properly. When one half cannot run safely we do the half that can, tell you which, and the missed half gets a makeup inside the same seven day window a full miss would.
